Bio

Throughout his junior years Ben McMoran became a prolific tournament winner on Irelands American 8-ball and 9-ball Tours. After his many young accomplishments, McMoran successfully made the transition to adult tours. He has won multiple titles all across Ireland in both 8-ball and 9-ball. McMoran has also been a pivotal team member of his home county, Tyrone, and has represented Ireland well on the international stage.

McMoran left Northern Ireland in 2012 to pursue a career in aviation. He has unfortunately not played much over the last few years due to the time commitment of his career goals. However, McMoran did make a winning return to the Irish 9-ball scene during a holiday break back home in 2013. He recently repeated the feat and claimed one of his greatest victories to date— winning the prestigious All-Ireland American 8-Ball Championships (October 2015).

That victory, coupled with the fact he is now settled in his new job, has encouraged McMoran to get back into playing competitive pool regularly. As a result, he is participating in the 2016 GB9 Tour.
