Caroline Egan
Caroline Egan grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and has been playing pool competitively for four years. She is currently ranked within the top twenty 19 & under pool players. She attended the 2007 Junior Nationals in Mankato, Minnesota, and was credited with an honorable mention.

Egan has worked at the BumperNets retail store for four years. She is employed as a sales associate, marketing associate, and as their junior pool pro. BumperNets is America's First Table Tennis Store and Billiard Pro Shop.

Every week BumperNets hosts pool and table tennis tournaments. They also offer a wide variety of games for the customers to play. In this store, people can play games such as: air hockey, foosball, ice hockey, pinball, and more! Another thing that makes BumperNets unique is the lessons that they provide instructed by Table Tennis and Billiard professionals. Also, Egan participated in the Poppa G's Women's Billiard tournament in February. She received 4th place out of over 50 women.

Egan hopes to expand her title and one day become a world champion. She plans on attending every possible tournament within her reach, and is very excited about being one of the few young women who are active in playing pool. She has come a very long way, and every week finds some way to improve her game. In the past, Egan has participated in the many tournaments that BumperNets has to offer.

At the women's tournament in 2007, Egan placed first in 9-ball and second in 8-ball. Not only did she place in just the women's tournament, but has placed in many of the co-ed tournaments as well. Within the past few weeks, Egan participated in the BumperNet's Thursday night tournament and placed 1st in the 8-ball tournament.

Something that you may find interesting about her is that for a long time, she was the only female that participated in the BumperNets tournaments. She played in her first tournament when she was 14 years old. After just two months of playing, she won 1st place by defeating the top player. She is also a huge fan of sushi. Her favorite is the Soft Shell Crab roll.

Caroline Egan plays with a McDermott Bridgeport, because she believes that McDermott is the best. She believes that the quality of the cues that McDermott produces is far better than any other cue. One reason she thinks that she is different from other women players is because she will not stop until she has reached the best that she possibly can be. She has more time on her hands than most women because she tries to practice daily or at least once every two days.

She is determined to reach her highest potential and will not stop until she gets there. Every week Egan participates in the weekly tournaments that BumperNets provides. After much hard work, Egan has improved her game tremendously. She hopes to keep working hard and become one of the youngest world champions in the billiard industry.
